Klaus Zehnder-Tischendorf, born 1957 in Cologne. Abitur and study of the library science.
Three years at the University Library Center Cologne (DFG research project). Study of the
human medicine in Essen. Since 1989 medical activity in Switzerland and graduation in the
forensic medicine to Basel. Since 1998 as a practical physician in Zofingen / Aargau established.

Interests

Little known music of Joseph Martin Kraus over Theodor Kirchner and Julius Röntgen up to
Leo Ornstein; Musicians autographs; Fantastic Literature; Chess; Painting; Culture history;
computer-assisted conversion of pictures moved by music; Flora and Fauna.

Norbert Burgmüller

1973 first acquaintance with works of Norbert Burgmüller (Rhapsody b op.13, Piano Sonata
f op.8). Little later beginning of an intensive collecting and research work (1983 recovering
and identification of the fragment of the finale to the 2nd Symphony D op.11; decovering of further
manuscripts). 1980 to 1986 first publications on Norbert Burgmüller in the form of monographs,
articles and covernotes. After occupational interruption, since 1995 more expanded research and
establishment of the archives on Norbert Burgmüller and its periphery (literature, autographs,
scores, ephemera) as well as further, partly still lining up publications. 2001 work on the first to
Norbert Burgmüller dedicated presentation on the internet. 2001 to 2003 edition of several works
of Norbert Burgmüller as first and new editions or reprints.
