NAME COUSINS

The name Burgmüller was in 19th Century among musicians, outside of the family Norbert
Burgmüller, some times to be found. About these, usually in ranges of the easy to shallow
piano music active arrangers, biographic material is altogether very scarce. About the pro-
venience of these Franz Burgmüller, Ferdinand Burgmüller, Henri Burgmüller or François
Burgmüller nothing is known. Remarkable is however, how far their style resembles those
models of Friedrich Burgmüller. This permits the suspicion, it concerns aliases, regarding good paragraph and connected e.g. also or similarly to the contraction F.Burgmueller, consciously were selected to participate with at the fairy taleful editions of Friedrich Burgmüller.
